Le Château dans le ciel

Held prisoner by pirates in an airship, the young Sheeta jumps into the void in an attempt to escape them. She is saved in the nick of time by Pazu, a young airplane pilot working in a mining city. The pirates give them chase. After a frantic chase, Sheeta confides in Pazu, telling him that she is the descendant of the sovereigns of Laputa, the mythical city located in the air. She is therefore the sole holder of the secret of Laputa that the ruthless army chief Muska is trying to uncover.
