Le Fantôme

THE PHANTOM is a review published by Editions des Remparts. 482 issues from January 1963 to August 1980. 35 collections of 5, 6 or 7 issues (not starting at No. 1). Format 15.5 x 21 cm. 36 pages. Colors. From No. 347, it switches to the 13.5 x 19.5 cm format up to No. 386 with 68 pages. Then the magazine becomes Phantom or Phantom (The Phantom) resuming the numbering from issue 1 from April 1972 to November 1973 for 60 issues in the 19 x 26 cm format for 20 color pages. It could therefore be considered as a separate magazine in its own right, but it corresponds to No. 387 to 446 as indicated by the continuation. From No. 447, the magazine takes the name Phantom (The Phantom) American Adventures. The 19 x 26 cm format does not change, but the magazine goes to 56 pages. It will last from No. 447 to No. 472 (February 1974 to August 1978). From No. 473 to No. 482, the magazine becomes Le Fantôme (The Phantom) (October 1978 to August 1980) with the same format (19 x 26 cm), but only 52 pages. The adventures of the famous Phantom by Lee Falk and Ray Moore. See also Special Le Fantôme, Le Fantôme Special and Fantôme du Bengale...
