Lil DC Comics Bombshells

The Lil DC Comics Bombshells by Cryptozoic revisit the DC heroines universe in a miniature 2.75-inch format. These figurines are inspired by 1940s pin-up art and depict an alternative reality where DC's female characters are at the center of World War II.

Launched in 2016, this collection stems from the success of DC Bombshells, a concept created by Ant Lucia that draws inspiration from World War II aesthetics and pin-up models. The Bombshells universe presents an alternative history of World War II where super-heroines, reimagined in a retro 1940s pin-up style, fight the Axis powers.

The Lil Bombshells range includes three main series released between 2016 and 2019. Series 2 features ten of DC's greatest heroines and villains, while Series 3 adds 12 unique figurines, including Batman, Superman, and the Joker. Each figurine is hand-painted and stylized to pay homage to classic pin-ups with a cartoonish touch.

The figurines are distributed in blind boxes in collectible metal boxes, with rare variants such as "Black" editions and exclusives for different retailers (Barnes & Noble, Hot Topic, Comic Con).
