Wildstorms

Wildstorm represents one of the most remarkable adventures in the collectible card game industry of the 1990s. Launched in October 1995 under the aegis of Jim Lee and developed under the Image Comics brand, this collectible card game draws directly from the Wildstorm comics universe.

The game system is distinguished by its 315 cards sold in starter decks of 60 cards, mixing strategy and collection. The unique designs among CCGs of the era featured illustrations directly taken from Image comics, offering collectors authentic artwork of emblematic characters such as WildC.A.T.s, Gen13 or Stormwatch.

Wildstorm cards cover several distinct series: 1995 Limited, 1996 Unlimited, as well as special editions such as Conflict and Promo. Some collections such as DV8 feature 90 different cards based on Image comics series, testifying to the richness of this universe created by Jim Lee.
