Crimson Skies is a combat flight simulator released in 2000 by Microsoft, the first game in the Crimson Skies series. The plot immerses the player in a semi-fictional universe during the 1930s, where they discover an air pirate named Nathan Zachary and his gang called the Fortune Hunters, traversing the skies in a zeppelin named Pandora. The Fortune Hunters are specialists in attacking zeppelins belonging to wealthy industrialists, treasure hunting, stealing aerial prototypes, and defending the oppressed against other bloodthirsty pirates.
