Vae Victis

Vae Victis is a bimonthly French-language magazine dealing with historical games ("wargames"), created in 1995. It covers both historical board games with tokens and historical games with miniatures. The name of the magazine is derived from the Latin phrase and refers to the historical games published as inserts in each of its issues. Vae Victis belonged to the Histoire et collections publishing group. In 2015, starting from issue 122, it was transferred to the editor-in-chief Nicolas Stratigos, as part of a new publishing company Cerigo Editions.
