Spraycan Mag (FR): The authentic fanzine of French underground graffiti The Origins: Historically carried by figures from the Parisian hip-hop culture, notably associated with the Zulu Nation, this fanzine was born from the desire to document street art at a time when traditional media completely ignored this culture. The Content: Designed in the manner of a raw and underground collection, it compiles over twenty pages of photographs of lettering, murals on vacant lots, "chromes", as well as shots of trains and metros painted across France and Europe. The Visual Identity: The first issue became cult thanks to its memorable cover, illustrated by artist Tcheko's character (accompanied by Kam and 3D), representing a stylized b-boy character with glasses and a paint can. Current Status: Printed in very limited quantities and distributed under the counter at the time, it is today considered an ultra-rare historical relic and a collectible piece sought after by enthusiasts of the golden age of French graffiti.
