Icare : L'Envol du jeu vidéo

Icare Mag is a magazine of literary analysis and fiction devoted to video games, created by Aurelien Beuzard and launched in February 2011. The magazine "tries to move away from the standards". Each issue is centered on a video game: God of War for the first, Deus Ex for the second, and Spec Ops: The Line for the third. A fourth issue to be published in 2021 will be devoted to Afterfall: Insanity (en). The magazine addresses various themes related to each game through dossiers and interviews with the creators, and offers exclusive illustrations created by artists. For Aurelien Beuzard, "the objective of the magazine is to make people think, to give meaning." The magazine does not contain any advertising.
