Information about "Adrenalin" collection
Adrenalin Magazine (Germany): The electric witness of Saar graffiti in the 1990s
Launched in February 1998 in Saarbrücken (Saarbrücken), Adrenalin is a mythical independent German fanzine which, despite a condensed existence, left its mark on the history of style writing across the Rhine.
Published very confidentially at the end of the 1990s, this period magazine established itself as a raw archive extremely coveted by collectors of historical graffiti zines in Europe.
Far from smooth glossy paper publications, Adrenalin brilliantly captured the tension of street graffiti. Each issue specialized in exhaustive and uncensored documentation of the local Saar scene, while opening its pages to major cross-border connections with France and the Benelux.
Between galleries of exclusive silver gelatin photos celebrating aggressive wildstyle lettering on walls, massive throw-ups, heavy night sessions on trains and subways, and close-ups of hot chrome pieces, it is a true time capsule that restores the adrenaline and pure energy of the pre-digital street.
