Donkey Kong Country

Animated television series from France and Canadainspired by the Donkey Kong Country platform game, broadcast in France from September 1996. It is also made using motion capture. In forty episodes and over two seasons, the series features the characters of Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong, who must protect the crystal coconut that produces endless magic bananas from the evil King K. Rool, who wants to use it to become the master of the world. A controversy arises due to the rejection of the show's nomination for the Emmy Awards, due to the motion capture technique, considered not to be animation.
