Game of Thrones - Cersei Lannister

Game of Thrones is a bit like The Lord of the Rings, but for adults who love medieval, fantasy and a bit gloomy universes, all against a backdrop of power struggles and violent deaths. This novel saga by George R. R. Martin, called A Song of Ice and Fire in English, is known for its excellent television adaptation. Cersei Lannister is one of the main characters in this saga. She is the daughter of Lord Tywin Lannister and the twin sister of Jaime Lannister, and she first became Queen Consort of the Seven Kingdoms by marrying Robert Baratheon. A very ambitious woman and renowned for her beauty, she has a hard time with the restrictions imposed on her by her gender and has nothing but contempt for her husband.
