U.S.S. Sulaco

The USS Sulaco is a Conestoga-class troop transport, nearly 400 meters long, in service with the American Colonial Marines. It transports the Second Battalion Bravo Team to the orbit of LV-426 to deploy ships on the surface and understand the loss of contact with the colony. Ellen Ripley, one of the few to have set foot on the planet, accompanies them as a special advisor.
