The Green Library is a French collection of books for young people created in 1923 by the Hachette publishing house, which is characterized by a green cover. The Pink Library is a French collection of books for young people created in 1856 by the Hachette publishing house and intended for children aged six to twelve. The collection is still published today. Initially the Illustrated Pink Library, the name of the collection became the New Pink Library in 1958, then the Pink Library in 1971. In 1962, a sub-collection, Minirose, was created for the youngest. The collection reached its peak between 1955 and 1987. After a sales crisis since the early 1990s, the Pink Library has regained success since the 2000s.
