The goal of the game is to be the first to reach the end of the course by identifying as quickly as possible people (living or not, real or fictional, comic book characters or groups of people), places (countries, rivers, cities, monuments, etc.), years (the clues are the most significant events of the year to be discovered) or things (everything else: animals, objects, institutions, events, music, etc.).
During the game, the players take turns as reader and investigator. The reader takes a card and announces to the other players (the investigators) the category of the word to be guessed. In turn, the investigators announce a number between 1 and 20 and try to guess the element to be discovered using the corresponding clue, read aloud by the reader. When a correct answer has been found, the reader and the investigator move their pawns as follows: the reader moves his pawn a number of squares equal to the number of clues announced (and known thanks to the markers placed by the players when choosing the clue), while the investigator moves his pawn a number of squares corresponding to the number of unread clues. To prolong the pleasure, the number of squares moved by the 2 players can be divided by 2, rounded up. The player to the left of the reader then becomes the reader in turn. In addition: each card has one or more numbered chance factors as clues (e.g. Advance 3 squares, Additional clue, Additional answer[*] bonus squares allow you to move faster by discovering a person, place, year or thing on your own in 5 clues or less.
The player who reaches or passes the Finish square first is the grand winner of the game.
