Tietoa "Fabuland"-kokoelmasta
LEGO Fabuland on ikoninen pelisarja, joka lanseerattiin vuonna 1979 ja tuotettiin vuoteen 1989 asti. Se oli suunniteltu 3–7-vuotiaille lapsille ja toimi siirtymänä DUPLO-palikoiden ja vakio-LEGO-järjestelmän välillä. Fabulandia erottivat sen antropomorfiset hahmot, joilla oli eläinten päät, kuten kuuluisa pormestari Lionel Lion, jotka asuivat värillisessä ja viihtyisässä maailmassa.
Ensimmäinen LEGO-sarja, joka kehitti todellisen narratiivisen universumin, Fabuland laajeni palikoiden ulkopuolelle kirjoilla, pelikorteilla, vaatteilla ja jopa animoidulla televisiosarjalla. 106 sarjat tarjosivat yksinkertaistettuja rakennelmia suuremmilla osilla, mikä helpotti talojen, veneiden, karusellejen ja kunnanrakennusten rakentamista.
Nykyään tämä kokoelma on erityisen arvostettu keräilijöiden keskuudessa sen ainutlaatuisen estetiikan ja merkityksen vuoksi LEGO:n historiassa ensimmäisenä onnistuneena yrityksenä yhdistää narratio ja rakennuspeli.
